His gift from the girls was a set of walkie-talkies (since the “old” ones were ruined). Of course the girls wouldn’t actually let him HAVE the walkie-talkies as they wanted them. 🙂
His gift from Ron and I was a new iPod. Yes folks, our son has an iPod. What exactly IS an iPod? Well… let me tell you in terms that *I* understood as a kid… it’s today’s version of a tape player. Remember those? Those big clunky things that you had to put a casette tape INTO in order to play music? Then, you needed batteries and you had to push big buttons in to make it work.
Joseph’s “tape player” requires nothing but a download of music from the computer, is about 1.5″x3″ in FULL SIZE, has a “skin” to keep it save and plugs into either my Mac or the wall to charge and then runs “forever”. We do need to find smaller ear phones though … for as big a head as he has, he has small ears! 🙂 LOL
He’s INCREDIBLY happy with his new toy! We’ll just have to see how long it takes Daddy to steal it. 😉
