Joseph’s party started “promptly” at 6pm when the first three of his friends walked into the yard. Pizza arrived right on time at 6:10pm and the rest of the kids with it. All in all, Kyle, Sean, Josh, Cassandra, Andrea, Lucas, Duke, Nick and David all joined in celebrating Joseph’s 9th birthday. They had a water balloon dodge ball fight, a water balloon tag game and guess Joseph’s time of birth and weight at birth for some of the more “prized” tatoos. I also did some face painting for them — most the boys added Duke, UNC or GO Canes! to their faces. I got to do a rainbow a heart and the Hurricane’s swirl (a very bad rendition I might add) though.
E&A played too and had a blast! They loved “hanging” out with the big kids. The other twins (Cassandra and Andrea) played with the girls a bit and even the boys were nice to them. 🙂
Joseph opened all his friends presents which included quite a bit of MONEY! 🙂
With only about 1/2 an hour left, a few extras that couldn’t join early on joined in and they all left with a goody bag (well with one exception because we actually ran out! I’ve never had that happen before!!).
All in all, Joseph had a blast!
