I changed Emi before bed last night and noticed that she’s got some super-duper diaper rash (or that’s what I think it is). So I put Aveeno diaper rash cream on her and she started to cry and scream and shake. I think it hurt! 🙁 That’s the only explanation I could figure out because she didn’t stop until I wiped it off.
i felt horrible. I can’t imagine what she was feeling. This stuff is supposed to be “neutral” and not hurt them. I even just went out and bought more because I was at Target and we were running out of Butt Paste (yes, that’s the name of another brand). That stuff works wonders, but it’s hard to get out of the container, so I wasn’t going to re-buy it.
In any case, after I got the Aveeno off of her, I put the Butt Paste on and she was just fine. I seriously think the Aveeno probably burned her skin (the sensation of burning) because of how she reacted. My poor baby! 🙁 🙁 🙁
