The hardwoods are in and they are gorgeous! They did not finish the area behind the toilet as that really needs to be dried out. I’m going to bleach it too, just to be sure it is fully dried and won’t cause a problem later on.
In a week, they’ll come back and put in the rest and sand the entire thing then go through the motions of putting on the stain and coating. We may have to stay in a hotel during that phase because of the smell and the fact that we won’t be able to walk on it! There’ll be no way to go upstairs (or down) during the day and the small bathroom won’t be put back together either. D’oh!
