Emily is little miss piglet. She ate all day long yesterday and so far today has “chugged” as well, but is going longer between feedings. I think she’s bored. Or, as bored as any infant can get that is missing her Gymini stimulation, bouncy seat, etc.
The hospital was kind enough last night (even though I’d specifically asked the night before) to provide us with a second bassinet for Em to sleep in. She did for most of the night, but at 8:00 am, she decided she wanted to sleep next to Mommy! She actually got mad when I put her back in the bed and it wasn’t because she wanted to eat! Miss priss wanted to sleep in the comfy chair again! 😉
Ron and I actually went out to Arby’s for dinner last night. The nurse actually suggested we get out for a bit … just a change of atmosphere for an hour. Being in the hospital all day is probably the hardest thing for me to do. Ron, the ultimate in patience, could sit and wait all day, but I cannot, so it becomes quite stressful for me. We’re getting through it though.
As soon as we get home, Joseph is ready to come home too! Yeah!
