Peaceful sleep!

Who says you can’t get any sleep with infants at night? 🙂 I know there are many that ascribe to the “wake them every 2 hours to eat” theory, but we aren’t them. We will, however, if they go between 4 & 5 hours without waking. Keep in mind too, that the night time feedings include rice cereal in their bottles, so that’s a filler.

We got both girls down about 12:30 pm for the “night”. That means, in their playpan, wrapped up, lights off, etc. vs downstairs with us.

They each zonked almost immediately and didn’t start fidgeting until 4:30 am! By 5:00, we got them up, gave them their meds and fed them again and out they went. It wasn’t until nearly 9:00 that they started again.

So, in between, we actually got some decent sleep!

Tried that double nursing thing again … no luck. They don’t latch and hold fast enough for me to get to both of them. So, for now, one gets a bottle and the other mommy. The “who gets what” part of that is dependent on who latches first. I give each of them a chance to try and Emily “won” this morning. 🙂
