I believe I predicted this when we were told they were both girls. But, Abby is most definately a Daddy’s girl. She loves to lay on Ron’s chest after she eats. Actually this position was suggested by the NICU nurses, because Abby’s reflux causes her pain when she lays flat immediately after eating.
Em doesn’t seem to have that problem as much and in no way does she enjoy laying on someone’s chest. She’ll get downright mad if you put her in that position — on either mommy or daddy! Abby will curl up right on you and just lay contented for quite a while.
So, after feedings now, Ron gets Abby because she’ll be all nice and calm while she digests a bit. Em and I go back to doing whatever we were doing — ie sleeping for her and cleaning/organizing for me. 🙂
