This little dialogue occurred this evening between Abby and Ron.
Back story … the girls love to color and now to color and then cut out their pictures. Most recently they have been asking us to draw pictures for them so that they can color — and to draw them on their mini “notebooks”.
Abby: Daddy? Will draw an elephant for me?
Ron: Sure.
-Abby hands Ron her “notebook” and he proceeds to draw while she is looking on.
Ron: Well … [pause] … this looks more like dog with a big nose than an elephant, but here you go.
Abby pauses, consider, cock-head, consider, more pause …
Abby: How about a Harmonica? Said with a super sweet smile and dazzling-ly beautiful eyes. 🙂
