Yesterday’s swimming activity was with the Speedo vest things the girls got for their birthday … and they were basically bobbing and they weren’t held on to, then they flopped head first into the water. Emily got onto the green water-float at one point and before I had a chance to turn 360 degrees around, she was head first in the water! Oops!
So, I pulled her out and we jumped up and down and said “yeah!” and she ended up saying “gin!” (that means “again!”)
In any case, today, we did something did something different — we bought tire-tube bathing suits that the girls wear (I got some great pictures which I will upload!). The girls loved them!!!! They thought it was awesome and were all excited, jumping into the water, “swimming”, etc. It was awesome!
