Joseph came running out of a neighbors house and caught me as the girls and I returned from our bunny-less walk. He was soaking wet (obviously had been playing) and said “Mom, Cassandra & Andrea invited me to dinner.”
Whoa!
So, I asked him if their mom invited him and he said yes. They were having hamburgers and he was invited to eat dinner with them.
Oh my goodness.
I told him it was ok with me then and he ran in the house to put on clean/dry clothes and headed right back out.
In the last few days, he’s asked us to teach him manners… so we’ve told him to not toot at the dinner table, chew with his mouth closed and to talk quietly. For some reason, those don’t stick in our house. But, he related to Ron (after the dinner) that he did all the right things and had a good time!
His first dinner out with the girls! 😉
