We headed out to get Joseph from my parents and drove the van through a quick car wash. Ron has been dying to run it through one and it seemed like a perfectly reasonable time to do it.
Nope!
The girls have never been through a car wash. Luckily this one was water only, no brushes as I can’t imagine what their reaction would have been to brushes! Egad!
Emi started to cry, then Abby started to cry and they were inconsolable for nearly 30 minutes. 🙁 Poor babies. We ended up having to stop and me get in the back of the van with them for the trip to Burlington just so they would calm down.
Each time the water would spray the window of the van, Emi would start to cry harder and while Abby didn’t seem to be *as* bothered by it, she was following Emi’s lead and crying too. 🙂
