With help from Joseph, Abby & Emily, the garage has been cleaned, organized, swept and finished! Woohoo! The wall looks great! The tools and workbench are useable again. The shelves and stuff are all back in place. It really is nice! And best of all, we can park both our cars in it again.
The dining room, on the other hand is a sad sight. 🙁 I’m not a perfectionist, let me caveat what I’m about to say with that. I could live with how it looks. One more (4th) coat of paint and some strategically placed photos and I’d be good with it.
Ron, however, is not happy with it and wants us to step back a bit and fix it. Whether I agree or not, that’s what we’re going to do.
So, this week, we’ll be stripping the paint from three major seams and some spotty areas. The tarp and plastic covering is still over the hardwoods, which is just sad! I want to see the pretty floor!
As Ron says, once it’s all over, I’ll forget all the hassle and we’ll have a nice wall that doesn’t have to be covered in pictures to look good. 🙂
