As of today, I have resigned from TRG. My last day with the company is May 3rd (Tuesday, two weeks from now). I’ll start my new job as Sr. Project Manager for 3DSolve on May 4th!
I am totally and completely and thoroughly excited about this. It’s a huge raise, huge $$ potential as I’ll get “commission” on the successful completion of my projects and an upgrade up the project management career ladder.
My boss was sad to hear I was leaving, but also understanding as it hasn’t been the best of environments lately. While she’s been wonderful, I can’t say that about everyone at TRG unfortunately. I will miss a lot of folks there. I’ll miss my private office (3DSolve is small — 23 people with my coming on board) as their space is being grown out of and everyone is sharing space.
That’s going to be funny, too because I still have to be a cow for one more month. I’ve already told that CEO and CMO that that was a requirement… a private office to be able to take care of that each day. They were both in agreement that was fine.
The leadership at this company is spot on… something that has strangely alluded most every other place I’ve been. I don’t get that. But, oh well.
It’s an exciting time for us and we’ll hopefully reap some wonderful rewards for it.
