As part of the homeschool rules in NC, there must be an end of grade test at every level. It must be a nationally standardized test and can be administered by anyone. We are getting the Iowa Test of Basic Skils (ITBS) from Piedmont Educational Services out of Pfafftown, NC! Yup! Pfafftown!
Joseph will take it the week of June 6th (right before the girls’ birthday) and Ron/I will administer, but it will be scored officially by PES so the state can have it’s number.
Hopefully he’ll pass and can officially go to 3rd grade…. back in the public school.
