Something happened to our fridge last night and everything defrosted! I went through all my frozen breastmilk and was able to salvage some that was in the center of each larger bag — hadn’t yet thawed at all. But I basically lost 90% of what I’d stored to-date.
That totaled 227oz from the end of June to today — the equivalent of 75 bottles worth! It’s just about the sadest thing there is — because this stuff is liquid gold! And, on top of that, I lost my entire last set of groceries and had to pay for a repairman on a weekend!
Luckily the girls can/will nurse all this weekend and I’ll pump, too so I can produce what they need for their daily bottles with Ron while I’m away at work!
It’s just so sad!
