I took 4 boxes of clothes to a consignment shop today. These were all of Joseph’s clothes from infant size to 6/7 (his previous size). They only took the equivalent of 1 box (some I wondered why they didn’t think they could sell them).
I got $42.50 out of it! Woohoo!
Then, all the rest of the clothes (stuff I figured they couldn’t sell) and all the stuff they didn’t want to my friend Michelle! Her baby was Joseph’s size when he was born and within days of each other, so the sizes should fit appropriately to the seasons! I handed off two storage boxes and 4.5 trash bags of boy clothes to her!
No more small boy clothes for us! Joseph is in size 8/10 now and shoe size of 3+, so as he gets bigger, we’ll just give away all his smaller clothing. I’m just amazed at how much we went through!
