Looks like we’re ditching the monitors. Emily’s leads are no longer functioning… they say “loose connection” when NOTHING is loose. Oh, and by the way… “saying” loose connection is a done by a very loud, continuous BEEP that is never ending!
So, one gets no sleep whatsoever. That means, no more monitors at night!
Since our pediatrician wouldn’t have sent them home with us anyway, I don’t feel stressed by taking them off these things. Besides, they haven’t gone off for anything real the entire time we’ve been home (4 weeks nearly) so, now it’s like having a full-term baby at home to deal with… not preemies!
