I forgot to add to their daily update that they had their car seat test today. All this means is that they spend an hour in their car seats while on the monitors to see if they have any difficulties.
Abby went first. She actually fits relatively well in the seat. I didn’t see Emily in the car seat as Abby wasn’t quite done when I left, but I can only imagine that it was huge because she is so little.
What I did notice though is that poor Abby seemed utterly confused by being in that seat. She wasn’t unhappy or anything, but she looked just lost. To read her mind, I’d say she was wondering where in the world was her sister!
And, Emily, who’d just finished eating while Abby was test sitting, she looked just a lost when I wrapped her up and put her back in the crib. She rolled onto her side — to face what would hav been her sister — but got an empty spot. She too looked awefully lost.
Neither cried, but it’s obvious these two like to stick together!
