The Mom is going home today, but the girls are staying at the hospital. It’s no fun leaving your little ones at a hospital … especially one that is 30 minutes away, but we do know that they will be well taken care of and that it is a necessity.
We could leave any time during the day as long as we were gone before midnight. So, we left about 6pm — after their feeding. Went and had dinner at TGI Friday’s (right down the street) with Joseph and Grandma (Grandma Sue) and then Ron and I went back for a late evening visit before driving home.
It’s sad that they have to stay and the only real advantage is that we’ll get some sleep/rest each night… for now…
